Comprehensive ICD-10 Training for Professional Medical Coders

Join us on April 8, 2015 as KAMU, in conjunction with Complete Medical Solutions, offers this 8 hour coding boot camp to the Health Center Connection participants.

Attendees participating in this hands-on workshop will benefit from a comprehensive introduction to the ICD-10-CM code set.  This vigorous training program offers participants insight into the organization and structure of ICD-10-CM and identifies common similarities and differences between the ICD-9-CM and the ICD-10-CM coding systems.

An analysis of common conventions and guidelines prepares the participant for a chapter by chapter exploration of the code set.  Practice scenarios are utilized to reinforce the coding concepts introduced. ICD-10 books are mandatory and included.  Pre and post assessments are administered to gauge the participant's level of proficiency.
