Storm Clean-Up Efforts - Tree Limbs and Brush Removal

The Village's Public Works Staff were out clearing the streets of the storm debris right after the storm on Saturday, June 21st. Staff will continue the clean-up efforts this week.

In order to assist residents in their clean-up efforts, the Village will be assisting residents by disposing of tree limbs for residents. Below are the guidelines for the disposal.

Village is anticipating pick up to be on

Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26, 2014.

The Village will only be removing brush and tree limbs no more than 6 inches in diameter
These tree limbs and brush shall be placed on the curbside before Thursday, June 26th 7am. Village staff will not enter private property.

It is our priority to give our residents and businesses the best possible municipal services. Communication is a vital role of our Village government. The Village as adopted Facebook as one our avenue of commutations and a source of information for residents and visitors.

Currently, the Friends of Lakemoor Facebook page has 311 likes, an increase of 64 likes in a four week span . We have set our goal of 500 likes be the reached by the end of the summer. If you have not done so yet, like us on Facebook and tell your friends and neighbors to do the same.
