Walgreen's is Now Open!
The Village of Lakemoor would like to extend a warm welcome to Walgreen's. On November 14th, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the new Walgreen's store located at 28895 Illinios Route 120 (southeast corner of Route 120 and Darrell Road). Nearly 15,000 square feet, the much anticipated Walgreen's store will provide a great service to the community, will help beautify the Route 120 corridor, and further strengthen the Village's tax base.

Journey's Healing Touch & Wellness Center 
The Village of Lakemoor is excited to welcome Journey's Healing Touch and Wellness Center to the community. Journeys offers a comfortable healing resource environment that educates and inspires the mind, body and spirit. Working as a team, the Journeys' wellness professionals provide healing touch, massage therapy, wellness coaching, personal training, holistic health consultations, yoga, nutritional support, acupuncture, skincare services as well as monthly educational classes. Journeys is conveniently located at 137 Route 120 between Lake and McHenry Counties to meet the wellness needs of the surrounding communities.
Journey's held a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 14th and is planning a Family Fall Fest on November 16th (see ad below).

Village Hall Demolition 
As a first step in building a new municipal campus for the community, the Village of Lakemoor demolished the former Village Hall. Located across from Lilly Lake at 234 Rand Road, the former Village Hall served the community for nearly 60 years. The Village is in the process of selecting a new site, which will be completed by the end of 2013. The design and layout of the new facility is expected to be completed in late Spring so that construction may begin at the end of 2014.
