On 11/06/13, between the hours of 6:30am and 8:00am, the Lakemoor Police Department received three reports of a suspicious male subject stopping near children at neighborhood bus stops. Children described the subject as being a white male, between 25 and 30 years of age, with medium to light brown hair, driving a silver or tan mid-size sport utility vehicle.

All three of the reports were located in the central portion of Lakemoor, South of Rt. 120.

The Lakemoor Police Department will be increasing patrols throughout the Village. We ask that parents remind their children not to talk to strangers or approach strange vehicles for any reason. We also ask that all of our residents report suspicious activity as soon as it is observed. Whenever possible it is always a good practice to have at least one parent present at school bus stops. Children should try to walk in groups to and from the bus stops.
