Village Accepts Credit Card Payments Online

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As part of our efforts to promote improved Village services, the Village of Lakemoor is pleased to bring you a more convenient method to pay your water utility bills and other Village payments online.

The Village has launched this program as part of a partnership with the State of Illinois Treasurer's Office.

Residents will be able to pay with MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for the following services and charges:

                                Pay for Village of Lakemoor Water Bills

                                Purchase of garbage and yard stickers

                                Apply for a garage sale permit

                 Purchase of vehicle sticker

                 Pay for ordinance violations

                                Pay for park activity fees

A nominal convenience fee is added to your total bill for the use of this system. This fee is not charged or collected by the Village of Lakemoor, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

Residents and Businesses Turn Out To Help Plan Lakemoor's

Future

An initial public community meeting was held on January, 18, 2012 hosted by Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning and the Village of Lakemoor.

The Village of Lakemoor has partnered with Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning's (CMAP) Local Technical Assistance (LTA) program to begin the interactive, community-based process of updating its comprehensive plan. The plan will build on Lakemoor's key assets and will provide guidance for decisions on topics such as land use, transportation, housing, and open space.

Over thirty people including residents, business owners and staff attended this kick off meeting and participated in the interactive activities. The data obtained from this meeting will me complied and used for the overall drafting of the update of the Comprhensive Land Use Plan.
