Best Day of My Life in Lake County
Visit Lake County has launched a music video, utilizing the song, 'Best Day of My Life' by American Authors. The video features Lake County musician Justin Yates singing his own version of the song and showcases various attractions around Lake County. Look for Lake County Board Chairman, Aaron Lawlor who makes a cameo appearance. Watch

Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

The Lake County Sheriff's Office participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics this past Sunday. Sheriff's deputies and their family members ran from Sheridan Rd and Wadsworth Rd to Sheridan Rd and Blanchard Rd in Beach Park. Through this event alone, the Sheriff's Office raised more than $17,000 for Special Olympics!

Lake County Achieving Efficiencies through Shared Services  
Lake County is focusing more on opportunities to share services, eliminate duplication, and simply be more efficient. Recently, the County Board approved a number of items that advance this initiative, including a new contract to provide police services and working with other governments to cooperatively purchase goods.
