19th Judicial Circuit Launches Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program

A new program through the 19th Judicial Circuit aims to help homeowners avoid the financial and emotional devastation of foreclosure through mediation. The objective is to explore options, increase communication, and empower parties to reach a resolution that works best for them. Homeowners whose foreclosure cases were filed on or after Dec. 2, 2013 are eligible.

A new state law, starting Jan. 1, prohibits all drivers from using hand-held cell phones while driving. Drivers are permitted to use cell phones with hands-free technology such as Bluetooth. |
