Annual Open House - Around the Corner!

I feel as though I can say with some certainty that spring has arrived. A few warm days and we've even had the windows open in the studio. What a treat!

Below is the information on the upcoming annual open house. Mark your calendar for June 7th, 2014, 9am - 1pm.

Discounts and other information are listed. New pricing will be available in the studio and on the website next week. A week later than anticipated, but we've had a few changes to sort out.

The hunt continues for a suitable studio space. I assure you that I am far more anxious, nervous, stressed and excited, about the whole process than you are! I will continue to ask questions in the studio about likes/dislikes, and please feel free to give me as much feedback as you want at any time. I know that we will not be able to satisfy our entire 'wish list' nor will we satisfy the needs of every client, but please know that we are doing our very best to find the place that is the best for every one. Though, the best advice I've gotten lately is from my mother (isn't that always the case?) and it was 'you can't make everyone happy'. And she is right, but I will TRY MY BEST!

Important Studio Policy

All group class packages are valid for two months from the date of the first class attended. Packages WILL NOT be extended for any reason.

A reminder for everyone that it is studio policy to take a class off your package if you do not notify us that you will be missing a class.

Also, all private lessons cancelled without 24 hours notice are subject to a $25 fee. Private lessons cancelled the 'day of' are charged as a full lesson.

Due to many classes and appointment times being full, if you do not cancel your space, others can not attend class.

You can cancel via the online software, send us an email, give us a call or text our phone number.

We do understand that sometimes there are circumstances beyond your control. If this is the case, let us know.

Group Mat Classes
Discount applied to current Mat package price of $112.00 plus tax
10% of ONE package
15% off TWO packages
20% off FOUR or MORE packages

Discount applied to current Apparatus package price of $180.00 plus tax.

*There will be an increase in Private/Duet Lesson pricing beginning Monday June 16th.

Road Trip! - by Cara Hazelton

One of the greatest changes in my recent Pilates teaching experience is teaching new and also seasoned Pilates teachers.

We have four apprentices in our current teacher education program, and we hope to start a second group in the fall. These new teachers already have a keen eye for movement, a strong knowledge of the work and they are each putting in 20-25 hours per week in apprenticeship! That is nearly 100 hours per week total! No wonder the Precision Pilates studio feels so busy!

This Thursday, Peter and I are flying to Toronto to teach at Lili Viola's Pilates studio. Lili has the only Authentic Pilates studio in Toronto and we are thrilled to be working with 8-10 teachers who will complete three workshops with Peter, two with me, plus private lessons. Only a couple of these teachers have experience in the Authentic Pilates system, so it is going to be a great time of learning and hopefully growing the appreciation for Joe Pilates and his work. I am also thrilled to get to teach a few former clients who have moved away from Fredericton! You can have a look at Lili's Pilates Studio website.
