I am thrilled to be sending you this newsletter! We are very excited to announce the first Precision Barre Teacher Training coming up November 1st - 3rd, 2013 in Fredericton.
This incredible fitness program is an excellent add-on to your studio's current offerings. The equipment takes up no space at all and the program is easy to learn, fun to teach, and changes bodies so your clients will ask for more!
The Precision Pilates studio in Fredericton has been able to increase monthly revenue potential by more than $2500 just by adding these classes to the schedule. It is difficult for a small studio to have teachers teaching every day of the week and every hour of the day. It is more difficult to watch a studio space be empty during times of the week when regular programming is not running. Precision Barre is a fitness class that is a great offset to help studios maintain their core offerings, but make enough extra monthly dollars to add to the stability of a successful studio.

What IS Precision Barre?
Precision Barre™ is the FIRST Barre fitness class in New Brunswick. Created and offered by the studio that brings you the most highly trained teachers in movement in Eastern Canada, Precision Barre™ is a fabulous fitness program that will improve your balance, posture, muscle tone, flexibility, strength, and attitude! These classes combine the precision of ballet barre-work with the strong, dynamic movement qualities of Traditional Pilates. There are a variety of classes in the Precision Barre™ program, including a full hour class that takes you through a workout designed to target your entire body and 30 minute Express Precision Barre™ class that is designed to give you the workout you need when time is short. There are also classes to suit varying levels of ability. All of the classes are high energy, graceful, powerful, and FUN!

About the Teacher Training
Why train with us?Precision Barre™ is the only barre fitness teacher training program from Eastern Canada. Although there are many other training programs, the teachers who developed Precision Barre™ include a highly trained Authentic Pilates professional and international award-winning entrepreneur, an advanced Pilates practitioner, and an accomplished dancer. These professionals combined their expertise to produce a superior core curriculum of fitness training. We have university-level anatomy credentials and also draw on the expertise of local medical and healthcare professionals in teaching basic anatomy workshops. We are the only training program to offer seminars on managing your Precision Barre™ business: scheduling, pricing, marketing etc. This is a Precision Barre ™ exclusive. Complete your teacher training with Precision Barre™ to offer your clients the absolute best workout experience. The first module of Precision Barre™ training is 20 hours over 3 days. It is comprised of seminars, workouts and opportunities to observe Precision Barre™ classes being taught by one of our teachers. Seminars will include: the exercises and choreography for Precision Barre™ and Express Precision Barre™; teaching techniques such as voice, touch, and cueing; basic anatomy; knowledge and skills for running a successful Precision Barre™ business. The teacher manual will have in-depth descriptions of exercises, movement techniques, alignment, teaching techniques, basic anatomy, equipment needs (barre heights, sizes etc) and more. A final test will be given at the end of the initial training and will consist of a short written exam and practical teaching demonstration.

From a Precision Barre Teacher
Meet Megan Woodworth
Hi! I'm Megan. Many of you will have seen me on the mat next to you in the Precision Pilates Studio over the last couple of years. And I'm still there, learning and loving the Authentic Pilates work. I can also be found at those beautiful new ballet barres teaching our very own Precision Barre!
Teaching Precision Barre has been a fantastic experience so far. I've been able to work with and get to know some of the great people I've seen around the studio. I've also been able to experience the joy of making people work really hard and have them thank me for it on the way out the door. That doesn't happen all that often in my other career as a University Professor.
So thanks to all who've made Precision Barre such a pleasure so far, and I look forward to getting to know even more wonderful, interesting people as Precision Barre grows. I am also looking forward to training others to be Precision Barre teachers so that they may experience the same joys that I do!

Precision Barre Teacher Training Pricing
$995.00 for initial training.
Early Bird discount: $775.00 by October 23th, 2013
What is included in the price of the initial training:
- 20 hours of training: Precision Barre ™ exercises and design for three different classes, anatomy, basic bio-mechanics/alignment, teaching techniques (touch/voice), business issues.
- 20 pairs of Precision Barre™ sticky socks to resell to your clients at $15 each ($300) - this allows you to recover $300 of your initial costs with your first 20 clients.
- 6 months of the Precision Barre licensing fee ($150 value). This covers use of programming, logos, marketing materials etc.
- in-depth teacher's manual, t-shirt, small rubber mat for using under the barre.
