Notes from the Programmers
When it comes to the design of your pledge page, the 3 S's can make a big difference in your fundraising: Simple, Short, and Stylish.

Keeping your pledge pages as simple as possible may seem obvious, but adding a lot of text or several links can quickly become a distraction. Remember: that donor is on your page because they have made the effort to donate to your organization. Don't lead them astray with too many bells and whistles. If you have fancy headers, expanding menus, and colorful buttons on your main page, don't use them on your donation page too. Keep the business of getting their donation simple and let them browse the depths of your website once they have completed their donation.

Adding question records to your page is an excellent way to gather data, but too many questions can also be a burden. Keep the page short to increase the change that the donor will follow-through through to making a donation. Consider changing your questions as you change your pledge page for each campaign, no one likes to answer the same question over and over again.

Every web page begins by looking like it was created in 1996, it's up to you to utilize the power of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to make your page look stylish. Create an attractive master page by utilizing the different fonts, colors, borders, and backgrounds and then use that master page as the basis for your pledge and survey pages. You'll have a professional, streamlined look throughout your pages.

In Fundraising V9.1, the Web module is able to generate responsive, mobile-optimized pages. This option needs to be turned on by Allegiance support. If you want to start using them but don't see a field for entering a mobile master page, contact support.
