Notes from the Programmers

The development staff is busy working on the next Fundraising version release, Version 9.2. We hope to start beta testing V9.2 in October, and while that seems a long time off, there are many things that go into getting a version release ready to go. Over the next few months, we will highlight some of the new features you can expect to see in V9.2. Remember, many of these request come from you, our valued users.

Dashboard Enhancements:

Data Entry Enhancements:

Color coding on pledge status within pledge list
Additional Giving History fields

Total matching gift amount
Current number of consecutive giving years
Highest number of consecutive giving years
Highest gift in the last membership year
Average gift in last membership year

Added ability to upgrade by dollar amount
Added the ability to add Start and End days on the Relationship record
Added the ability to store social media handles
Added the ability to store attachments to accounts, people, pledges, and activities
The window state (maximized/normal) is stored in registry for the Account screen. When opening the next account it will open in the same state
Added a Sounds Like search to the Details Search area for first name, last name, and street name
Added Major Donor and Auto Renewal indicators to the Status column in the Search window

Major Gift Enhancements:

Added the ability to store attachments to major gift accounts, planned gift records, and tasks
Added the ability to store social media handles
Added a new task type of Email
Added a global way to mark a To-Do task as done
Added the ability to globally add a task to multiple accounts from within the Major Gifts Triggers area
Added the ability to open the major gift account from the Contact Activity, Give Ability and Discrepancy Reports
