Volunteer Management System Web Components The Web components of the Volunteer Management system continue to evolve with each update. In Version 9.0 we added a the ability to create volunteer sign-up and sign-in web pages to recruit volunteers and track their work hours. In Version 9.1 we enhanced the layout and usability of these web pages. In Version 9.2 we plan to add automated reminder and thank you emails, and the ability to update a volunteer account through the Online Personal Interface (OPI) portal.
Volunteer Web Sign-Up Pages There are two types of Volunteer sign-up web pages:
Web Link and
Project - Job Link. The
Web Link page is intended to be used on your website for volunteers to enter their availability and contact information. The
Project - Job Link page is tied to a specific project/event and set of jobs so volunteers can sign up for shifts. Both types of web pages can be set up to send confirmation emails. Just like
Web Pledge Pages, questions can be used to gather additional information and submissions go through a transaction bin for review before being imported.
Volunteer Web Register Pages The Volunteer Web Register Page is used on the day of the event for volunteers to sign in and out. It tracks the hours worked and automatically applies them to the work records on the volunteers' accounts in the database. This web page can be opened on an iPad, tablet, or laptop at your event, and eliminates the need for manually tracking and entering volunteer work hours after the fact.
You must have both the Volunteer Management system and the Web module to use these new features. If you already have both, you can start using these pages today.

Keep Up with the Latest Enhancements Allegiance is adding new features regularly, not just with new products or version releases. These new features are listed in the
MSI Update Summaries for each system. These documents can be found on the Documents pages found under
Documents + Tutorials in the
Client Portal. They are also posted in the
Allegiance User Forum. To get automated emails when announcements are posted for any given product, follow the forum called News & Software Updates under that product.
