As we reflect on the things we've accomplished over the past year, we are especially proud of the major product released in January. An update to our Fundraising system included some great features, especially to our Web Module. Additionally, we tweaked the Constant Contact integration and HEP interface. Currently we are finishing an integration project with ACD Direct.
While we celebrate these successes, we continue to look to future innovation. We will once again be bringing major releases and new products in 2013. Our first major release of the year will introduce Allegiance Fundraising V9.1 with lots of features you, our customers, have requested. Beta testing is scheduled to begin next month. Our goal is to make this version available to our users by mid-May.
For our Traffic & Corporate Support System users, we are planning a major release entirely programmed in .Net. Several new enhancements will be included with that release as well. Our goal is to release Traffic & Corporate Support V9.1 in the third or fourth quarter of 2013.
Watch your inbox for more detailed information about the new features that will be available to you in both systems.
As we wrap up programming changes on Fundraising V9.1, and look to finalizing enhancements to Traffic & Corporate Support V9.1, we will begin development on future versions. Please continue to
send us your enhancement requests. We want to know what we can do to make our products and services better for you.
Using Allegiance Cloud As you may have heard, Allegiance is now offering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to new and existing Fundraising system customers. The service includes enterprise-level security, automated backups and redundancy, seamless upgrade delivery, and a sub-domain and SSL for your Web module.
Users will be able to access their system from virtually anywhere on almost any device. In addition to an internet connection, Allegiance Cloud requires access to Internet Explorer. Ideally, it should be the most recent version of IE. The software and data will reside on powerful servers in a hardened and secure data center, accessed via a browser. So, depending on their current hardware and network setup, most users will likely experience an increase in speed when they move to the Cloud. The speed of their internet connection will determine the speed of their Allegiance sessions.
Windows Active Directory will be used for user authentication. After logging in to the Allegiance Cloud with client-specific credentials, users will access their database using their individual credentials. Allegiance Cloud IT and support staff will not have access to clients' data without written permission.
As updates become available, they will be applied automatically on Thursdays. These upgrades will occur outside of typically business hours as to not disrupt workflow. Additionally, users will receive a release note document with details of what has been updated. System version releases will be scheduled. When a new version is available, users will be notified that the release is available and that they need to contact Allegiance Support to schedule a time for the update to be applied.
Moving to the cloud will decrease your hardware and IT costs, tighten your security, streamline upgrade delivery, and ensure virtually uninterrupted access to your data and fundraising tools. Find out if moving to the Cloud is a cost-effective option for your organization. Contact
