Thoughts On Mother's Day

     The best academy is the mother's knee...

     This Sunday we take time to honor our mothers, each in our individual ways; we celebrate mothers who are among us.....and pause to remember those who have died. We are grateful for lessons learned at the "academy of our mother's knee" and we share in the memories of a lifetime.

     We might pause a moment to join in sorrow with those mothers grieving a child who, on this and future mother's days, will celebrate in spirit: death has changed the form of their child's presence but it cannot take away the joy and wonder of time spent and memories created in life.

     To all mothers, then, I wish a day of contentment in gifts given and received through the awesome responsibility and unparalled joy of being-a-mother.

      A most delightful mother's day to all.
