The Women's Center at Kent State will award two $500 scholarships to the two top female KSU students who apply by Friday, February 14th. |

Annual Student Conference at Kent State Stark |
Open to all KSU Honors Students |
The Annual Student Conference at Kent State's Stark campus will take place April 24-25th, 2014. Proposals can be submitted online for papers, posters, art work, music and theater presentations. Proposals must be turned in by

The Office of Global Education will be holding the Spring Education Abroad Expo on January 22, 2014 from 11:30 to 2:30 in the Student Center Ballroom Balcony.

New Exchange Partnership in South Korea |
Kent State has created a new exchange partnership with Dankook University in South Korea. This exchange will present students with the opportunity to study for four weeks (July 14-August 8, 2014) at one of South Korea's leading private research institutions, taking advantage of quality academics taught in English, with financial incentives such as free housing, daily breakfast, and $1,200 airfare vouchers. Honors Projects Available Through RCET |
RCET (the Research Center for Educational Technology housed in Moulton Hall) is currently accepting students to complete Individual Honors Work projects (IHWs) focusing on the following areas:
- Using digital tools for 21st Century Skills
- Virtual environments and game-based learning
- Technology integration with Common Core State Standard
- Best practices in K12 teaching and learning
Opportunities for community service projects are also available.

If you suspect you have left behind a personal item in the Honors Library or the Stopher-Johnson classrooms then you can check for your items with the staff at the the Honors College reception area in the Lower Level (right by the Honors Library). |
