Box Top Wars!
To increase our participation in the Box Tops and Labels for Education programs, we are conducting a contest among the classes to see which class can contribute the most BT4E and L4E points labels (per student average per class). The class that contributes the most label points/per student will win a popcorn or cupcake party*.
For example: A class with 20 students that contributes 200 label points has a per student average of 10 label points; a class with 15 students that contributes 200 label points has a per student average of 13 label points. The class with 15 students would win the competition for class with the most point labels per student average.
The contest includes the collection of both Box Tops for Education (BT4E)

and Labels for Education (L4E).

The contest runs now through November 27, 2012.
Attached is a contest flyer - it will be sent out via Wednesday Blast and the Room Parents.
Also attached are instructions on how the points are tallied and sheets that the students may prefer to use over bundling their labels in plastic bags.
Your class does not have to participate. Of course, participation is greatly appreciated. Especially since the proceeds benefit STM - the earnings fund the purchase of additional equipment and supplies.
With previous years' earnings, the PTO bought the school playground items such as soccer and footballs, lemon twists balls, jump ropes, cones, etc. Our wish list is long and our goals are high, so please help us in earning more for our school.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Cristina Farias-Gomez and Mickey Grammatica Fletcher.
We appreciate your attention to this matter and thank you in advance for your kindness with this activity. More Information.
