Thanks to Mrs. Lyons, Mrs. Bickham, Mrs. MacPhail, Ms. Puscheck, Mrs. Rozzi and Mrs. Morengiello for the help in screening over 150 children's vision and hearing today. Unfortunately, we did not complete 5th, 6th and 8th grades and they will be screened at a later date. Children with abnormal results will be rescreened by nurse and then a letter sent home if results are still not passing. Passing tests will be noted but letters not sent home.

2013 STM Auction
Six Degrees of Separation
Leaves may be falling, but the STM PTO is thinking Spring! The Spring 2013 Festival del Sole Auction that is! The planning is well underway and we have a great group of dedicated STM parents pounding the pavement and sending emails asking for donations from local businesses to ensure we have lots of great offerings for the auction.
Do you subscribe to the theory that everyone on the planet is six steps away from introduction to anyone else on the planet? Well, we are hoping at least the theory holds true for the Northern Virginia!
Do you know someone, or know of someone who knows someone, that works for or frequents the following Arlington businesses? They are located in our "back yard" and we'd love to secure a donation from them for our auction. Businesses get great publicity from donating to our event, and they may even secure a new loyal customer!
ZPizza - Mister Days - Melting Pot - Jay's Saloon - Outback Steakhouse - Thirsty Bernies - Brick's Pizza
Whitlow's on Wilson - Harry's Tap Room - Cheesecake Factory - Whole Foods - Border's

Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can pass along a contact name for these businesses or ANY OTHER BUSINESS! If you are feeling brave, ask them yourself to donate an item/service to the STM Spring Auction!
