  SPOTLIGHT
 A Passion for Service

Bill Drury is a man with a passion. He is on a mission to help businesses create lifetime loyal customers. On Thursday, May 7th he will present an action-packed 1/2 day seminar with proven strategies and techniques to help everyone in the company win customers and reduce lost sales.

Some disturbing service facts:

FACT: 96% of unhappy customers never complain about discourtesy, but 91% of them will not buy again from a business that offended them.

FACT: Customers who encounter poor service tell an average of 11 other people about their bad experience.

FACT: 68% of customers who stop doing business with a company do so because of perceived indifference -- nobody cares.

FACT: Courting new business can cost up to five times more than strengthening relationships with current clients.

We've heard fantastic feedback about this program!

Your investment is only $99 per attendee or $89 for five or more if you register by Thursday, April 30th. Late registrations are $119 per attendee or $109 for five or more. Call the Chamber at 253-851-6865 to reserve your spot!

Zig Ziglar, America's number one motivator says:
"...Bill has conducted over three hundred seminars for the Zig Ziglar Corporation -- we always got good reviews. He knows what he is talking about. He has an excellent style of delivery. Your people and your company will be better off after hearing Bill Drury."

 SHOUT OUT!

  A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Warren Zimmerman 52810
It's a really Blue Monday.

Just 36" was all that separated the Seahawks from being crowned Super Bowl champions on Sunday. I remember everyone jumping up and down, screaming and celebrating because we were going to win! Then, just like daily life, something unexpected happened that changed everything.

I'm reminded of the many times in business that plans are made and executed only to find something unexpected occurs that throws us off our game. The Seahawks are a great team and I expect them to recover and remain at the top of NFL Football for years to come. The big question is would you recover if something major changed in your business model? The lesson we all learned in that final 30 seconds of the game is that no matter how well you prepare unexpected things can happen and how you deal with those setbacks will determine future success.

This is the beginning of a new year have you checked your business plan lately? Wouldn't this be a great time to meet with someone that has considerable resources available to see how you might stack up against adversity in whatever form it might take?

Your Chamber sponsors a mentoring program with SCORE that's free and available to anyone interested in getting help evaluating their business from top to bottom. If you would like to take advantage of this program contact us at the Chamber to schedule an appointment. Reviewing your business plan might not guarantee your success but it will certainly help you to be ready for the next big play!
