A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Business Connections was a success! Paradise Theatre provided a great venue and the food was amazing! 62% of the potential members that attended joined the Chamber that night. This night would not have been as successful if it were not for the volunteers who assisted the staff and helped greet and talk with new members. I would like to say thank you to the Volunteers who came Thursday night.

On Sunday, April 28th from 3 - 6pm, the Canterwood Golf & Country Club will be a hot spot of activity for Canterwood residents and members. How to be Ready for an Emergency
Encouraging ACTION is the key....and Canterwood residents will have their first major opportunity this coming Sunday. A variety of presentations will be given by:The Red Cross
Pierce County Department of Emergency Management, Peninsula Light, Puget Sound Energy, Northwest Response
There will be booth displays, kid's activities and an opportunity for residents to pre-order emergency supplies.
Gig Harbor Lions
On Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5, the Gig Harbor Lions will once again be greeting you with White Cane stickers and asking for you donations to help the sight programs of the Northwest Lions Foundation. Gig Harbor Lions will be at Fred Meyer's from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.This year Lions are please to have the members of the Peninsula High School Baseball Teams helping with collections at Albertson's from 10 to 4 on Saturday. Be sure to stop by and donate generously to help give the gifts of sight and hearing.
