A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
We had a very successful day in Olympia last Thursday thanks in large part to Mitch Anderson who coordinated the event. Mitch was able to schedule a brief meeting with Governor Inslee for a discussion on bridge tolls followed by an impressive group of top Representatives who covered everything from the new Majority Coalition and its effect on this session to transportation, education, business legislation and of course the state budget. We also heard informative updates from our 26th District Representatives Angel, Seaquist and Schlicher during our lunch meeting with them. Several regular attendees said that this was one of the best Chamber trips they had taken to Olympia.
