Some of you probably know that my husband and I attempted to hike the tallest mountain in the contiguous US two weeks ago.
We were very close to the top, when my husband got sick. We were probably 10 to 15 minutes away from the summit but we had to turn away. After 11 miles of hike at high altitude over 14000ft imagine how this felt.
However I was so happy we made it back safe. This experience has taught us so much. A lot has surfaced for us, and we decided we were not going to wait another year to attempt the same hike.
We went back after 9 days and we did it! YAY!
However we both realized it was a reason for it. This time we got caught in a snow storm and we could see a total different side of the mountain.
It was absolutely surreal, magical, mystical.
In life when things go wrong for the first time, it might be that something more powerful, more beautiful, more magical or special is set aside for you.
Any type of success needs to be earned, so we can fully enjoy.
Some say that if you are not successful in life, relationships, finances etc, is because you haven't failed enough... The word failure is a harsh word, but you got the picture. Sometimes we need to look into the shadow side of ourselves in order to heal and connect with that divine spark within that leads us to our unique beautiful radiant light...
