SIES Conservation News
The Coastal Curators* of Sullivan's Island Elementary School are putting repurposing into action and need the community's support!

How can you help?
Drop off your used, rinsed 2-liter bottles, with lids, at SIES to be used to build a new greenhouse.

Look for the large blue recycling bin (sign on bin) to the right of the SIES driveway near the Poe Library

Students will use the new greenhouse to grow Spartina alternilora seedlings from seed to plant on Sullivan's Island as part of the DNR Seeds to Shoreline project.

*The Coastal Curators are a group of 4th and 5th grade SIES students committed to coastal conservation issues.
The academic sponsor is Holly Blair, Coastal Ecology Programs Coordinator at SIES.
