In the rush of this holiday season, we hope you have the opportunity for a quiet walk on the beach and time to reflect on the many reasons why Sullivan's Island is a great place to call home.  A way to show that SI pride is to purchase a commemorative brick for your family or a loved one (see information below).  As usual, please visit the Town's website regularly for other current news and information.

Dog Permits & Collars are available atTown Hall. 2016 permits and collars are available now!

All owners must obtain a Town issued dog permit and colored collar for the dogs to wear while on the Island.

Holiday Safety Tips
Shopping:  Remember to lock your vehicle, have your keys ready when you leave a store for the parking lot,
stow your purchases in your locked trunk but do not store your gifts in the trunk for the whole season
 
Identity Protection: Guard your identity by being mindful of your credit and debit card purchases.  Shield the card kiosk keypad when keying in your PIN number.

Commemorative Brick Drive
Become a part of Sullivan's Island's History: Purchase your Commemorative Brick

The Town of Sullivan's Island is pleased to announce an opportunity to purchase a commemorative brick for placement at the new Town Hall and Police Station - a unique gift for that special relative or friend.  It is also a perfect way to express your love all things Sullivan's Island - for generations to come!

Protected Land Management
Many thanks to the residents who attended the series of special council meetings in October and November regarding the Town's Protected Land.

Council will continue its workshop/special council sessions to review the Protected Land Management Plan in January 2016 (Date/time TBA).

The Town appreciates the continued support of The Church of the Holy Cross Episcopal parishioners and staff who have graciously donated their Great Room for these meetings.

Traffic Note: All roads will be open with the exception of Station 22 1/2 between Middle Street and I'On Avenue next to Dunleavy's.  Motorists and pedestrians should use caution when navigating the Community Commercial District as traffic congestion is anticipated.  The Town will have additional public safety staff in the area to assist with directing traffic.
