All dogs need permits and need to wear their collar and permit tag at all times on the Island. Permits are available at Town Hall (2050-B Middle Street)

Traffic Notice - October 4, 2014 | |

The IOP Connector Runs begins at 8:00AM with runners assembling at 7:00AM or even earlier. The Isle of Palms (IOP) Connector (SC-517) will be closed and traffic re-routed prior to the race start. Please watch for traffic alerts closer to the race date and plan your travel accordingly.

Town Hall/Police Station Project - Update | |
On September 8, 2014, Town Consultant, Creech & Associates, presented a new Town Hall/Police Station design proposal at a Special Council/Public Meeting.
The proposed design is for a 9,500 sf building to be located between the Fire Station and Marshall J. Stith Park (2050 Middle), facing Middle Street.
Next steps: Creech & Associates are currently preparing design documents for this project.
