Status of various ongoing Town Projects:  

Town Hall, Police Station & 
Park Improvement
Town anticipates having a third community meeting in late March/April.  Hill Construction and Creech & Associates (architectural designers) are working together to blend public feedback on design options with construction cost and expertise.  The Public Facilities Committee of Council is tracking progress on this project

Real Estate Marketing/Realtor Services
Dunes Properties of Charleston, Inc & Tim Reese will provide real estate expertise as the Town moves to identify potential Town property for sale.  More information TBA.

Islanders are invited to this family-friendly alcohol-free holiday celebration in the Park. Highlights:  Live entertainment, contests, games & prizes. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. 
 

St.  Patrick's Day Celebrations in Commercial District

Local businesses in the Community Commercial District will celebrate outdoors from approximately 12Noon to 6:00PM on Saturday, March 15, 2014.  For safety reasons, the following roads will be closed during this time:

 

Station 22 1/2 St. from Middle St. to I'On Ave.

Middle Street from Station 22 1/2 to Station 22

Thank you for using caution in this area.  

 

Note: On St. Patrick's Day (Monday, March 17th), Station 22 1/2 Street between Middle Street and I'On Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic.
