Dear Friends of the PFC:
Monday, May 4th starts our Staff Appreciation Week. Anyone wanting to drop off a breakfast or lunch item may do so before school starts that morning or send it with your child to the Main Office. If you have already signed up and are bringing something we will be in the office to collect it from you and set-up a wonderful buffet.
Don't forget to join us for our 8th grade Welcome Coffee Monday, May 4th at 9am in the Library. All incoming 8th grade families are welcome. Then at 10am we will have our last PFC Meeting for the year. Please come to say goodbye to our outgoing team of amazing volunteers and meet our new board members and the new 2015-2016 PFC Presidents.
The Jason Alexander fundraising Gala this past Saturday night was a HUGE success! Thank you to all who attended, worked behind the scenes, volunteered during the day/night and those who stayed until 1am to clean up. To say LVUSD has the greatest support team would be an understatement. Bravo to Jason Alexander and his band and our PAEC technical crew. It was a night to remember!
A special shout out to our own College and Career Advisor, Robin Lutsky. Her advice, encouragement and guidance helped our Seniors follow the right path for them in their college and career decisions and they are on their way to bright futures outside of high school. For those students who will be Juniors and Seniors next year, please take advantage of the opportunity CHS and the PFC gives you by having our own College and Career Advisor on campus. Make an appointment with Mrs. Lutsky now or in the Fall.
Many Thanks,
Laura Ainsworth

**Elevator Keys**
To all Parents:
This is your Health Clerk, Joey Levin. I am home nursing a fractured foot but I have some wonderful subs manning my office. A little reminder, if your student still has elevator keys that they no longer need, please return them to the Health Office. All keys are due by the semester's end.
Be well and happy and I hope to see you soon.

Dear Calabasas High School Students and Parents,

Peer Support at Calabasas High School is truly one of our most treasured resources. Our Peer Support group values respect among students, creates an anti-bullying culture, provides fun activities for students and a place where students can always find a friend to sit with at lunch. Peer Support has brought in service dogs to pet and relieve stress during finals week, provided stress management tools, brought an important anti-bully film to all students, parents and faculty and offered one-on-one friendship during Every 15 Minutes. With this school year ending and a new one starting before we know it, Peer Support is looking for new students to join this group and be part of this very valuable organization on the CHS campus.
If you would like to join the Peer Support team next school year, click here for an application. All applications are due May 1st in room H106 by 12:00 PM.
Also, CHS Peer Support, CHS Stand for the Silent Club, and Former Calabasas Mayor and current City Council Member David J Shapiro, are hosting a screening of the movie "Bully" in the CHS PAEC on May 6th, at 6:30 pm for ALL LVUSD Middle Schools. Immediately following the screening there will be a panel discussion moderated by LVUSD Superintendent Dr. Dan Stepenosky. The screening is geared toward middle school age students and parents, but is also open to the community. This movie is intended for grades 6 and above (rated PG-13). Admission is FREE!
The film BULLY follows five stories of children and families who are deeply affected by bullying within the course of a school year. With intimate glimpses into homes, classrooms, cafeterias, and principals' offices, the film offers insight into the lives of bullied, ridiculed children.
CHS Peer Support aims to help create a bully-free environment both at CHS and all LVUSD middle schools. Making our community aware of the negative effects of bullying is the first step. Please contact calabasashighps@gmail.com or mrsharris416@gmail.com with any questions.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
The Calabasas High School Peer Support Team
