Dear Friends of the PFC:
Thank you to all who attended our April PFC meeting. Monday, May 4th will be our last for the year.
There are a lot of senior activities going on, so for those senior parents who want to stay "in the know" please check the CHS website and click on SENIORS.
Congratulations to our FBLA (Future Business Leaders of American) students who competed in Santa Clara over spring break. Many awards were won by our kids and some will be attending the Nationals! Great job to students, teachers and chaperones, too.
There are only a limited amount of tickets left for the Jason Alexander One Man Show Gala. Please don't miss out on this once in a lifetime treat right here at CHS. For more information please read below.
If you haven't had a chance to meet our new Plant Manager, Chris Williams we hope you'll have the opportunity. Mr. Williams comes to us from Agoura High School and we are very lucky to have him. Our campus is getting a much needed sprucing up from Chris and his team and we see a difference already. Welcome Mr. Williams!
The end of the year is busier than ever and the PFC would like to thank our Peer Support and ASB students for continuing to work hard and bring events to CHS students and our community. Their dedication and hard work doesn't stop, so thank you all!
Many Thanks,
Laura Ainsworth

Dear Calabasas High School students and parents,

CHS Peer Support, CHS Stand for the Silent Club, and fmr. Calabasas Mayor and current City Council Member David J Shapiro, are hosting a screening of the movie "Bully" in the CHS PAEC on May 6th, at 6:30 pm for ALL LVUSD Middle Schools. Immediately following the screening there will be a panel discussion moderated by LVUSD Superintendent Dr. Dan Stepenosky. The screening is geared toward middle school age students and parents, but is also open to the community. This movie is intended for grades 6 and above (rated PG-13). Admission is FREE!
The film BULLY follows five stories of children and families who are deeply affected by bullying within the course of a school year. With intimate glimpses into homes, classrooms, cafeterias, and principals' offices, the film offers insight into the lives of bullied, ridiculed children.
CHS Peer Support aims to help create a bully-free environment both at CHS and all LVUSD middle schools. Making our community aware of the negative effects of bullying is the first step. Please contact calabasashighps@gmail.com or mrsharris416@gmail.com with any questions.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
The Calabasas High School Peer Support Team
