Rivermont Collegiate Presents...
No Place Like Nowhere
By Andrew Ross
Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th 7:00 p.m. Becherer Hall Auditorium
Tickets: $5 at the door
What is there to do in the middle of Nowhere? Just ask a temperamental movie star, the paparazzi, secret agents, a crooked congressman, and two brothers putting on a two-man production of Romeo and Juliet! Years ago, a corrupt congressman promised a highway to the desert town of Nowhere, Nevada, but it missed their town by 200 miles, making rival Rattle Snake City the benefactor. Now the government has 500 tons of toxic waste they need to store somewhere, so they decide to dump it in Nowhere and send government agents to force the citizens to leave the economically depressed town. Meanwhile, miles away, a movie crew is filming a western when their high-strung star actress walks out on them.

What is Waitlisting?Acceptances/Denials/Waitlistings are being released as we pass March 31st. Since all Rivermont students must apply to at least two reach schools and because some very selective schools are reach schools for anyone, there will be Rivermont students who do not receive a "yes" or a "no" but are informed that they are on a wait list. So what is that limbo known as "waitlisted" and can it ever be a good thing? Read the article. Subscribe the the College Blog.
