         The Holiday Season is in full swing....wood chips are flying in everyone's shops!   Now the rush is on for those of you who don't heat your shops to get your turning done before it gets too cold.  Here in Missouri we still have a few days left to enjoy those 60 and 70 degree temperatures.  I'm not going to lie...I'll be glad when Fly season is done.
          We would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you an wonderful, safe Thanksgiving.   We hope that it's filled with joy and love for all of you.   As you pause to reflect on what you are Thankful for this year we want to let you know each one of you are on our list, because without you, we wouldn't be Wood-N-Whimsies.
            Speaking of  Wood-N-Whimisies.....the Whimsies side is seeing a re-birth.   When we first named our business We came up with the name based on the wood for the turning side of the business.  The Whimsies side was supposed to be for little clay figures that I used to make.  Well as we got more and more customers I just never had time to work on my clay and it just fell to the wayside.   As most of you know Tim started bee keeping, and as with anything he does, he's become quite good at it.  He had a great year this year and his hives are thriving.     With his honey and wax and education in all things natural he has begun making all natural soaps, lotions, balms etc....  We will soon be adding these to our website.  Don't be alarmed, we are not getting away from being your choice for your turning supplies, we're just expanding into additional markets and I'd rather maintain one website than two!  Just think, when you are spending on your turning supplies you can get a little something for that someone special in your life and keep them happy too.
             
 We will be closed Thursday November 26th and Friday November 27th .  Shipping will resume on Monday November 30th.  Please plan your orders accordingly

Tracey's Two Cents Worth
    Just another reminder....we're getting to that busy time of year!  Please remember to add a few extra days to your deadlines to give yourself a safety net.   A couple of things can occur when things get busy.  It can take an extra day for us to get your order out if you have Rifle kits or Inlays and USPS can take an extra day or two.   We do our best to get your orders out very quickly but there are days when we get an extremely high volume of the items we make and it can take a bit longer to get them out the door.

     Please remember...if you call and get voice mail, I'm probably over at the laser getting inlays done, we don't have a dedicated person to sit and just do the phones.  Please leave a message and I will get back to you just as soon as possible.

I'm working on a Winter Owl and another Angel inlay blank.   I'm not sure if I'll get them on the site before the next Newsletter but I'm going to try!        

        7mm Resin Miser Mold is still in the works
       Silicone Stoppers finally arrived so Tim can move forward with the 7mm Mold you've been asking for.  With the nub design it was just too fragile.  Now with the new design, we can make it happen.  I'm trying to get a fire lit under Tim's butt to get the mold done. 
     
        White Powder Coated Pre-Cut Tubes for Monet and Bolt Action getting closer.    
        I'm going to try and get these tubes out on the site sometime this month.

Remember...if you see a PSI kit you'd like us to carry, drop me an email.   I keep track of the numbers of requests I get for kits and that's how I decide what to add to our regular stock.  If you need at least 5 of a kit, let me know, if it's available to dealers I may be able to save you some $ on it!
