March 2015

Whoot Whoot...finally a break in the weather here and a few beautiful days to get re-energized before the next round of this crazy winter!
Went to Georgia to visit the Jones clan and had to spend a couple extra days loving up on my Grand daughter because of storms!  Geez...what a hardship that was... NOT     She is so funny.   We Skype at least once a week and this week she said "Hi...where's Dink?"  Thank goodness for Skype.  It allows me to chat with all my family members who live out of state.  If you have any loved ones who you don't get to see daily, I highly recommend Skype.  It's so nice to be able to see and talk to them.   We started with both her and my great niece ever since they were born so they'd know who I am.   Of course sister and mom chat is great too!
Dink Says  "Cruzin' along, top down, my ears blowing in the wind!"
I hope those of you who've had a rough winter are beginning to see some signs of things calming down a bit.   For those of you in those very mild climates, keep rubbing it in when you call!
Tim is hard at work preparing his little bee village.  I got him several Nucks for Christmas and he'll be picking them up at the end of April.   Of course that also means I'll have a few dogs with bee stings.   They get so attracted by the smell of the honey they tend to stick their noses where they don't belong!
Hope you all enjoy your Corned Beef on the 17th.  I myself don't care for it.  The guys will be enjoying their Corned Beef and I'll be dining on Ribeye!
TECH TALK

We haven't had anything that we're getting calls about this month for me to share in the Tech Talk Section.  If there is anything you'd like some information on, just drop us an email and we'll see what we can come up with.

Tracey's Two Cents Worth
USPS has updated their website and done something that kinda drives me nuts.   To give you the estimated delivery date the system just takes the date the label is created and automatically adds 3 days and puts that as your delivery date.   This has caused some confusion on the part of our customers.   They'll look at that date and if the package doesn't arrive by then they'll presume something is wrong.   With this crazy winter I've noticed there have been many delays with shipments.   It might be beautiful where you are, but the route the mail goes to get to you can be a mess.  Make sure if you do go to USPS to look at your package, you scroll down the page to see where your package currently is.   You'll see the day our mail carrier picks it up and the day it leaves the main hub in Springfield, MO.  There will be a day or two lag before it gets to a main Hub in your area and the information is updated.  Once the carrier picks it up from us, I don't have have access to anything in addition to the information you are seeing on USPS.  All I can do is go to USPS put in your tracking number and repeat the same process you are doing.    Remember, even though many of you know your carriers and live in a safe location, if the package will not fit in your mailbox, the carrier may take it back to the post office and forget to leave you a notice.   If your package is overdue, you can try giving your post office a call to see if they have it in their possession.   If there have been bad storms across the nation, it may take an extra day or two to receive your package.  Although I wish there were not these delays, USPS is still the most economical way for you to receive your package.  We try to keep shipping costs down for you.  We've looked into UPS and FedEx and they are both quite a bit more expensive.
