It offers a structured opportunity to examine what is holding us back from being who we really want to be. If we use the period of Elul to take concrete steps towards becoming advocates for change, together we can make a difference! Continued.

Over the Rainbow - Washington State LGBTQ Aging & Long-Term Care Summit
By 2030, Washington state demographics will shift toward an aging population with more than one-in-five residents over 65. Among this senior demographic will be a wave of LGBTQ people who will face unique challenges in finding culturally competent long-term care.
Over the Rainbow will convene nationally known and regional experts who understand the needs of this diverse community. This exciting forum will review what can be done to avoid re-closeting individuals as they reach their golden years and how best to embrace and manage associated needs. The program will include a key note address, break-out time with a choice of three sessions, and a closing plenary. More info here.
