In the spirit of the holidays we want to thank all our customers, vendors, employees and others.  Here at AWT Labels & Packaging, we again are in the midst of our holiday charity basket raffle, bake sale, ugly sweater contest and company wide holiday celebrations.

This year, the employee committee selected Second Harvest Heartland (a hunger relief organization) as the charity the proceeds from our holiday fundraisers will be donated to.  I am repeatedly amazed at the generosity of our employees, vendors, customers and all that participate in our holiday charity events.

A sincere Thank You to all of our customers, employees, vendors and others.  The company had a good year in 2013.  We continue to strive to be the best service and quality provider of pressure sensitive labels, flexible packaging and converted products in the industry. 

Our employees have embraced process improvements as the DNA of the company and encourage our LEAN journey, ISO 9001:2008 and SQF quality systems.  With our commitment to continually improve our processes, the goal to be the best service and quality provider in the industry is attainable.

As many of you are already aware, Advanced Web was rebranded to AWT Labels & Packaging this fall.  The new name better reflects who we are and what we do.  In addition to the new name came a new logo and a new website.  If you haven't already seen our new site, take some time to check it out.  awtlabelpack.com

Among many successes in 2013, we are proud to share with you that within the past week, our South Elgin, IL manufacturing facility successfully passed the SQF (Safe Quality Food) audit process.  This audit is the final step in becoming SQF certified.

Our customers have been asking for some additional capabilities from us.  Accordingly, AWT will be adding Shrink Sleeve and Extended Content Labels to our product offerings in 2014.  Current plans are to have these additional capabilities operational in the second quarter of next year.  If you have a need for these added capabilities, please contact your sales executive to discuss the plans in more detail.
