Leadership Embodiment
Upcoming Events
September/October 2013
Wendy Palmer
Dear Friends,

Remembering to invite a little more warmth and a little more expansiveness can brighten up your day or evening. When there is a lot going on that needs to be attended to, doing a lizard push up and smiling can make the tasks easier and make you more efficient.

We are in the home stretch with the new book and we will send a note as we get more clarity on the exact launch date. Below are a few events taking place in the Bay Area.

Keep practicing, "noble, awesome, shiny" (NAS)

Blessings,

Wendy

Leadership Embodiment Book New Leadership Embodiment Book
We are very excited to announce that the new book is going to be available at the end of October.
As many of you know, this book -

Leadership Embodiment, How the Way We Sit
and Stand Can Change the Way We Think and Speak

- has been in process for the last two years. The focus of the book is built around the Three Leadership Competencies - Inclusiveness, Centered Listing and Speaking Up. It also has a section by Janet Crawford entitled, The Biology Behind It All, which is a brilliant description of the science and background of how and why our system evolved as it attempted to manage the challenges we have faced over millions of years. We will let you know when you can preorder from Amazon. The book will be available as a paperback and an e-reader.

LE Retreat in San Rafael
October 31 - November 3, 2013

The retreat format is one of my favorite ways to practice LE work. We will be practicing, meditating and cooking together. We have a beautiful house to hold us for those 4 days. Sitting after the partner exercises and letting our systems process for 20 min before discussions allows for a deeper experience of our patterns and understanding of our body's process. There are four openings left - a level 1 LE course is required in order to attend the retreat.

ALIA West Workshop
I am delighted to be part of an ALIA West Workshop on October 20, 2013 -

ALIA Workshop Title

At the core of effective leadership is a willingness to see situations clearly, the capacity to hold multiple perspectives, and the courage to act with skill and compassion. For the past 13 years, the ALIA Institute has brought together the wisdom, tools, and practices needed to cultivate this type of leadership.
