We've been getting lots of rain, but at least not as much as Texas! It does make gardening a little challenging though.  We can't do anything about the weather, but we can offer you some wonderful things to plant when the soil is dry enough.  We're still getting new things in the garden center every week and we'd love to help you pick out some "goodies" for your garden and landscape!
Tomatoes
Still haven't started your veggie garden?
It's not too late! Come out to Four Seasons this weekend and buy a heavy duty tomato cage for $3.99. For an extra 40 cents you will get a big (12-16" tall) healthy tomato plant in a 1 gallon container to put inside it! We have been growing these tomato plants in our polyhouses for extra warmth and feeding them with Fish Emulsion and Tomato Tone to get dark green, blooming plants  that will make your neighbors jealous.
Sedums:  Easy groundcover for hot dry conditions.

Clockwise from upper left corner, 'Angelina', 'Dragon's Blood', 'Green Ice', ellacombianum, 'Variegatum' and 'Voodoo'
We have all these beauties in stock.  They are unmatched for rock gardens or sunny borders.  Tolerant of heat and drought, they prefer loose soil with good drainage.  So easy-to-grow, they are only $3.79 for a nice, full 4" pot.
Got those "Here Come the Mosquitoes Blues"?
We've got some things to fix that:
  • Propane Insect Foggers
  • Yard Net Repellant Granules (eco-safe)
  • Mosquito Beater in a hose-end sprayer
  • Mosquito Dunks (biological control)
  • Liquid Net (all natural) Insect Repellent
  • Plants that naturally repel insects - Lemon Grass, Ageratum, Herbs
