There is no better time than now to align all parties including the Owner, Design Team, Contractors and Subcontractors with a common goal. Course provided by DPR Construction.
Lean Design Techniques - participants will learn how to deliver the right deliverable at the right time to minimize wasted effort.
Appropriate BIM Tools - participants will learn how to use the correct BIM tools for this type of project.
Target Value Design - participants will learn about the benefits of Target Value Design to avoid time intensive and costly value engineering exercises.

ALERT - IMPORTANT AIA CONTRACT DOCUMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 2013
AIA Austin will be holding an AIA Contract Document Sale until December 14, 2012. All documents are 20% off, 30% off for AIA members.
Please be aware that the retail price for paper documents is increasing significantly in 2013 to offset the increased costs that AIA National is experiencing due to lower print quantities and higher fixed costs. Click here for the new rates starting January 2013.
Also, in an effort to manage paper document inventory levels more efficiently while the number of units sold continues to decline year-over-year, AIA National will limit document reprints to the top selling 28 documents (click here for list). AIA Austin will only carry the top 28 documents in our office. We will continue to fulfill orders for all other documents until our existing inventory is depleted; AIA National will do the same. Once paper inventory is out, documents will only be available through Documents-On-Demand or Document Software.
Questions? Contact Lauren Vienne at 512.452.4332New Contract Document Education Portal AIA has launched a new Contract Document Education portal complete with videos, guides, podcasts, and webinars about AIA documents and software. This is a powerful resource for getting the most out of your AIA Contract Documents.
