Rita Mills is a veteran of both the traditional and independent publishing worlds having spent 4 years as the managing editor of an academic press at the University of Houston and owning her own publishing, consulting business, The Book Connection, since 1996.

Rita has had a "front-row seat" to witness the publishing industry's metamorphosis and how it has impacted both authors and publishers alike. A portion of her presentation will focus on the emerging ebook market.
