Heart's Cry Children's Ministry has recently launched a large-scale orphanage project entitled Casa Providencia (English translation: Divine Providence House), in response to the urgent need of a temporary care facility that can adequately care for special needs orphans in the Republic of Panama.  Currently, the abandoned or orphaned children with severe mental and physical handicaps are scattered in different orphanages around the country, which are completely unable to care for their special needs.  This results in such occurrences as children being tied to their cribs by the ankle, instead of their gifts and abilities being discovered and enhanced through proper education and therapy.  Our desire at Casa Providencia is to discover the hidden treasures within each child whom God sends to us.

This orphanage will operate in an existing 40,900 square foot building (former US Military Zone).  The use of this beautiful property has been donated to Heart's Cry Children's Ministry (HCCM) for it's new purpose, a special needs orphanage, where the children will be able to live, learn, grow, and also prepare for life with their permanent families.  The three phases of fundraising for this project are as follows:

Phase I - Remodel (Project-Specific Building and Property Improvements)

Phase II - Equipping/Furnishing

Phase III - Operations

We are currently in the middle of Phase I, and are in immediate need of additional funding in order to complete project-specific improvements to the property.

PLEASE VISIT CASA PROVIDENCIA'S NEWLY CONSTRUCTED WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT AND TO LEARN HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED!

Sincerely,

Matt and Misty Hedspeth
