BIG BANG COMPANY
Owner: Elina Fleyshgakker

Elina Fleyshgakker is an Economics student turned Coffee Roaster! After almost 10 years of working as a barista, she knew she had found her passion. An internship allowed Elina to live and work on a coffee farm in Kona, Hawaii; where she spent an entire year learning the art of roasting. She processed coffee from the seeds that were put in the ground to the cups that were brewed for breakfast. When she realized she could impact the quality of life for people in developing countries she went into business for herself. Big Bang Company only carries Fair Trade and Organic Coffee Beans for this reason.

In 2010, Elina bought her first roaster and began to develop her own roasts and blends and in 2012 Big Bang coffee debuted at the John Jay Homestead Farm Market!
She offers coffee from several regions of the world available by the bag every week, as well as a highlighted coffee of the week and recently added her newly created espresso blend to her offerings.
