Looking for something to do with the kids this summer?
Coming to the Homestead on a summer day is a great excursion for the family. The Carriage Barn Education and Visitor Center and Six Discovery Centers are open everyday from 9:30 to 4:30.
Bring a picnic, play in the Playhouse, plant a flower, see the chickens, spend the day!

History Camp is filling up!
Looking for a summer experience that is fun and educational? Come to History Adventure Days. Participate in activities, play games, and interact with amazing special guests. A great summer day camp!

Discovering America: Explorers & Expeditions
August 5th - 9th - Making a Home in a New Land: Colonial Life History Adventure Days are for children entering 2nd - 7th grade and are scheduled Monday-Friday, 9 am - 3 pm. The cost is $250 per week.  DO YOU LOVE HISTORY? Are you looking for something fun to do in your spare time that will benefit your community? John Jay Homestead State Historic Site is looking for volunteers like you! Volunteers are needed to help with historic tours, interact with the public in our new Education and Visitor Center and help with special events.
