Super Troll You Should Know!
The Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce honors Bruce Frisch the "Super Troll You Should Know" - September's Volunteer of the Month. The Super Troll You Should Know is awarded to a person who has had a positive impact on our community, making it a better place to live.
"Bruce is my favorite beer man, and comes prepared with a cork screw, too! The Thirsty Troll Brew Fest has grown to its great success due to the many efforts of Bruce. He has contributed countless hours of volunteering for the Brew Fest, to where now it is a well oiled machine and the largest fundraiser for the Chamber," said Melissa Theisen, MHACC Executive Director. Bruce has been volunteering for the Chamber and Mount Horeb community for many years and served as the Chamber president for three years. Among his current volunteer work is service to the Thirsty Troll Brew Fest along with assistance supplying the essentials for great Chamber social events.
When speaking to volunteering Bruce says, "It's my way of giving back to Mount Horeb, the community I was born and raised in. I've lived here all my life. I love Mount Horeb and want to see it thrive!" Bruce is the owner of Le Cork Lounge & Liquor.

Falling in Love with Mount Horeb
Fall Heritage Festival has come and gone. Festival enthusiasts turned out in spite of rainy weather on Saturday and activities continued on a beautiful Sunday. Horses, sheep, crafters, farmers, heritage demonstrators, musicians, mobile kitchens, mini pedal tractors, and much more lined the street for those who braved the Autumn weather! Our thanks go to all who helped prepare for the festivities and assisted throughout the event. PUMPKINS ON PARADE:Here is a photo of the winning pumpkin sculpture (see above). FANTASTIC! MINI PEDAL TRACTOR PULLS: Once again the Mini Pedal Tractor Pulls competition was a huge success.
