National Children's Dental Health Month
February is National Children's Dental Health Month sponsored by the American Dental Association to increase awareness about the importance of oral health.
Children should visit the Dentist by the time of their 1st birthday or 1st tooth. Children should learn to brush for 2 minutes 2 times a day.
The Tooth Taxi does both things at schools across Oregon; provide and teach kids how to use their personal oral hygiene kit, and provide free dental care. The wheels on the Tooth Taxi keep running by donations to The Dental Foundation of Oregon.
