Happy Mother's Day!
"Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
~Proverbs 30:30-31 NIV

Hills Alive Free For All
With the recent snowy weather we've been having, it's a little hard to believe that Hills Alive is less than 3 months away! As progress is made, our anticipation grows along with our desire and need to have you partner with us. During Hills Alive, Memorial Park will fill with 45,000 or more people throughout the weekend. In the middle of that crowd could be a young girl struggling with self-image, a young man dealing with addiction, a single mother fighting a battle with depression, someone contemplating suicide, a couple being faced with divorce, or a family of six barely managing to make ends meet. These and many more like them, are the people who need your support. People who wouldn't or couldn't pay thirty or more dollars per ticket to attend a Christian music festival. These are the people whose lives you could help change forever. Every year we are blessed and humbled by the testimonies we hear that come as a result of Hills Alive. We know that we only play a small part of that. We know that without you, none of this would be possible. We know that with God, all things are possible.
On Thursday, May 9th, we will be going on the air to seek your help in partnering with us to help keep Hills Alive "Free for All." Our goal during the fundraiser is to raise $20,000 towards the cost of the festival. We want the un-churched family staying at the local hotel to see and hear what is going on in the park and come over to get a closer look. We want the person sleeping under the bridge that night to be reminded that God loves them. We want people to bring their friends and family who are lost and hurting, and we want all of them to be able to come without buying a ticket. Please remember that although Hills Alive has no admission fee, the festival still has a lot of financial costs. We are praying about the financial support of this ministry and we ask that you would be in prayer about it too. From all of us at KSLT, we would like to thank you in advance for your passion, your help, and for partnering with us for a successful Hills Alive 2013!
