Year-End Giving to Support KLMP

KLMP is still on its way to being fully-funded for the upcoming year. Please consider making a financial gift to this ministry. As a reminder, all financial gifts are tax deductible. In order to receive a tax-deduction for 2012, your donation will need to be postmarked with a date no later than December 31st, 2012. Gifts can be brought to our offices by 5 pm on Monday, Dec. 31st or you may also choose to make your donation online at klmp.com. Thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration to partner with our ministry. Many Blessings on the New Year!

Christmas Wish 2012 Is Here!

As with the success of the last 2 years of granting wishes for families in need in our community (and beyond) for Christmas, we are welcoming back the Christmas Wish. Please be in prayer over how you can be involved this year in helping those who are in need (i.e. Nominator, Prayer Warrior or Gift Giver). Nominations are open to those families living in the Black Hills only during this year's campaign.

Last year we were blessed to have been able to help families in multiple areas and with numerous, different needs like providing coats for a family of 12, a shopping spree for a listener healing from an abusive marriage, a beauty day for a teen and her mom who lost everything in a fire, and much, much more.

God can and will use His people if they make themselves available to His leading. Again, please be in prayer over how you can be used by God in this year's campaign whether you're keeping us in constant prayer or by gifting a family that you hear about on our station. Keep listening for a chance to help make this Christmas even more special for someone else.

Gospel for Asia Christmas Critter Campaign

Are you looking for something very worthwhile to get your family involved in this Christmas? Why not become a part of Gospel for Asia? Yo  u and your family can choose one of multiple gifts; whether it's chickens or pigs or one of the options below, to give to not only a family in need but to a community. Consider picking out a tremendous, tangible Christmas present wrapped up in the Gospel message this year. Visit www.klmp.com to pick out something extra special from your family to theirs. Here are two more of many options with GFA:

A) Many poor regions of Asia do not have pure, clean drinking water. Using concrete and sand, BioSand water filters remove impurities, providing water for drinking and cooking that is 98 percent pure. Help provide pure water to a village in Asia-and a chance for them to hear of the living water Jesus offers.

B) The women's literacy program, which has received positive recognition from government officials, is not only available for those within the church, but also extends to other women in the community.

To see the eyes of a woman read the words of the Bible for the first time is priceless! You can provide more women this opportunity through giving towards women's literacy. Visit klmp.com to connect with GFA.

The Word For You Today Devotional

Love

Love is slow to suspect but quick to trust; slow to condemn but quick to justify; slow to offend but quick to defend; slow to expose but quick to shield; slow to reprimand but quick to empathize; slow to belittle but quick to appreciate; slow to demand but quick to give; slow to provoke but quick to help; slow to resent but quick to forgive.

Jerry Cook tells about a church where the people make the following pledge to each other: "I'll never knowingly say or do anything to hurt you. I'll always, in every circumstance, seek to help and support you. If you're down and I can lift you, I'll do that. If you need something and I have it, I'll share it with you. If I need to, I'll give it to you. No matter what I find out about you, no matter what happens in the future-either good or bad-my commitment to you will never change.

And there's nothing you can do about it."

1 Cor 13:7 says that love:

1) Believes all things. When someone you care about is called into question, love says, 'That's not the kind of person they are; that's not what they meant."

2) Hopes all things. Love sees people not just as they are, but as they can be through God's grace. And if you will let Him, He will download that kind of love into your heart.

3) Endures all things. The word 'endure' is a military term. It means

driving a stake into the ground. It's like saying, "I'll stand my ground

in loving you." Today, take the love God's given to you,

and give it to others.

"What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like."

- St. Augustine
