Merry Christmas!

"...but the angel reassured them. 'Don't be afraid!' he said. 'I bring good news that

will bring great joy to all people. The Savior - yes, the Messiah, the Lord - has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!'"

~Luke 2:11 NLT

Gospel for Asia Christmas Campaign

This Christmas season, you can bless an impoverished family in Asia with a gift that will help them, feed their family, earn a living and point them to the Gospel. The Dalits, are considered the "Untouchables", as the lowest of the low in India's caste system. These gifts will last for years to come and help these families break the cycle of poverty. Most of all, these precious souls will hear about Jesus and the ultimate gift He offers. KSLT is partnering with Gospel for Asia to provide unique Christmas gifts, on behalf of friends and family, to the Dalits. Below is a partial list of gifts available to purchase. For a complete list of gifts and more information on making a purchase and giving a gift in someone else's name, please visit our website at kslt.com and click on the Gospel for Asia link. ALL payments must be sent directly to Gospel for Asia.

$11 - EGGcellent Protein. Have you ever received a rooster or hen as a Christmas       present? Maybe not, but for a Dalit family, these animals are a welcome gift - and often the source of 200-300 eggs a year! And when the pair produces chicks, they will continue to provide nourishment and a source of income.

$21 - Pack of Seven Bibles. Hope in their language: a chance to read the Bible on their own is a gift that every national missionary wants to give the people they minister among. Help provide missionaries and churches with the most important tool for winning the lost and discipling believers.

$30 - Clean Water. Many poor regions of Asia have no source of pure drinking water. Using concrete and sand, these BioSand water filters remove impurities, providing water for drinking and cooking that is 98 percent pure. Help provide pure water in an Asian village - and a chance for them to hear of the living water Jesus offers.

$65 - Pigs. Giving a pair of pigs is like providing a steady paycheck. Each pair can produce up to 20 piglets a year and each piglet will grow over 200 pounds in less than five months. That's a lot of pork to feed a family and sell for extra income!

$85 - The sewing machine is operated without electricity by a foot peddle. For the women of Asia, sewing is not just a hobby; it is an opportunity to earn a livelihood for their family. Give the gift of a sewing machine that not only will put clothes on their backs; it can also put food on a family's table.

$130 - Pair of Lambs. One lamb will produce up to 30 pounds of wool each year. That's like giving an Asian family 10 miles of yarn! And wool is not the only thing lambs have to offer. Their rich nutritious milk is an excellent source of calcium and makes delicious cheese. Of course, a pair of lambs will reproduce, providing even more lambs for wool, milk, and meat.

KSLT is the Christmas Station

All of us at KSLT would like to wish you and your family a very merry and blessed Christmas season. As part of our Christmas music over the holidays, you will hear songs by secular artists that have been carefully chosen to add familiarity without promoting Santa Claus. KSLT does this as a way to attract non-Christian listeners to our radio station. Included in our on-air campaign are references encouraging listeners to take our 30-Day Challenge. We ask that they continue listening to KSLT for at least 30 days after Christmas and see how it changes their life. This campaign has been effective in years past without compromising our message. Be sure to invite your friends and family, especially those who may not listen to us on a regular basis, to tune in as we celebrate the season. We also would appreciate your prayers for those tuning in that they would be touched by the best message in the world!

Jason Gray - Christmas Stories Tour

Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

Performing Arts Center of Rapid City

(formerly Dakota Middle School)

7 PM (Doors open at 6:30)

Please join us for a special evening with Jason Gray. Jason is an amazing storyteller and the tour in his words is:

"a telling of the Christmas narrative through the characters who lived it. I wrote the songs with the hope that - if I told their stories as honestly and humanly as I knew how - those who listened would recognize themselves in these characters and maybe take the Christmas story personally. I hope you can join us as we chart a course for Bethlehem, following the footprints of those who first traveled there, believing the journey is meant to lead us deep insider our own hearts to find a manger and the child who can make us all children again. Come celebrate and sing the story with us!"

Tickets available at:

Our website at kslt.com, Alternative Fuel, and Disciples Corner.

The Train is Coming!

KSLT's Christmas Train has left the station! Fred the Engineer will be talking with Dave Masters every weekday morning at 7:15 to give his location for the day. Be the 7th caller when you hear the train whistle blow, give the correct location and win whatever prizes are inside! This year the train is pulling 107 boxcars totaling over $20,000 in prizes!
