Door County Visitor Bureau installing Charging Stations!
The Door County Visitor Bureau has purchased and will be installing two  Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVS) at the Bureau this spring. They have already identified one partner in the County and continue to look for other partners on this venture to add to the fleet of stations. Door County wants to be at the front of electric vehicle usage and by promoting the infrastructure, we will be the first community in the state to begin building a network of charging stations. We believe that eventually this will be one of the preferred modes of travel and if we can assist in cutting down the carbon footprint left by carbon emission vehicles in Door County we are working on environmental sustainability. This also opens a new market segment of travelers for Door County and will hopefully generate additional visitors and overnight stays.
