A Ride for Melba
Dear Church Family,
I have bringing Melba Jesudason to church a few times a month for awhile. She has moved in with her son and they live off of Mineral Point Road near the Blackhawk Church. He works full time for TSA and there are no bus routes out there. So, I'm wondering if someone might be able to bring her once or twice a month since I can't do that right now or for some time.
Let me know if this is a possibility for you and I'll help you set it up.

| Community | Join Grace Foyers and Join the Fun! Foyer Groups are a fun and easy way for parishioners to gather together on a regular but informal basis for purely social reasons. There is no agenda or plan - just casual fellowship and a simple meal. Meals have included breakfast, lunch and dinner held in homes, restaurants, and senior citizen communities. Grace Foyer groups are made up of singles, couples, and families, young and old. Each small group of six to eight people meet once every four to six weeks during the winter and spring with the main focus on Christian fellowship, a refreshing meal and relaxed conversation.
The Grand Foyer kick-off will be scheduled for Sunday, January 13, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Guild Hall. Attendance not required, just desired. Sign up to attend or volunteer (arrive by 5 p.m.) to help set up the Grand Foyer by contacting Chère Gibson at ccgibson@wisc.edu or 824-0303.

Diocese of Newala needs our help
During this season of Advent, please remember the Diocese of Milwaukee's companion diocese, Newala in your prayers. This financial stresses the diocese faces are many. At this time, they are struggling to raise funds to repair their tractor, which (when operational) is an important source of income for the diocese, as it is hired out to plow fields for local farmers. When the tractor is not running, not only must area farmers return to working their fields with hand tools (see photo) but there are also no funds to pay diocesan office workers. The Diocese of Newala is currently trying to raise approximately $4500 to fix the tractor.
If you would like to make a donation, checks may be sent to the Diocese of Milwaukee at 804 East Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202. Please make checks payable to Diocese of Milwaukee and put "Newala Tractor" in the notation line. Questions? Contact Neil Radtke of the Companion Diocese Committee at njradtke@wi.rr.com.
THANK YOU! Neil
Holy Casserolers Manami Terrien is beginning another round of treatment for her stage four breast cancer. We'd like to help out with some meals/casseroles/soups. Please put your food in a freezer-safe, disposable container; label it with "Manami", your name, and the date; and place it in the Holy Casseroler freezer at church. (The top shelf of the stainless steel refrigerator in the corner of the kitchen by the microwave.) She and her husband do not have any food restrictions. Thanks!
