Saturday, May 18, 10 am - 4 pm. Bring your banners! It's a parade! Join the procession and wave high the flag of your congregation at the Festival Eucharist in the middle of the festival day. On this day, we will celebrate the work of the spirit in our diocese. All ages are invited to come together for a Eucharist celebrating our rich liturgical life together. Sea SundaySunday, June 2, is set aside in the church calendar to remember the brave and dedicated men and women who keep our global economy afloat. Through special services, congregations around the world celebrate the vital contribution seafarers make to all our lives, and pray for them, their families and those that support them. Our diocesan Mission to Seafarer's asks that you support this work through your congregation and give generously. [ More] Follow the Mission to Seafarer's on Facebook. Launching a New Sunday LiturgyWednesday, June 5, 9 am-5 pm, St. Paul, Seattle. Offered by the College for Congregational Development, and led by the Rev. Melissa Skelton, Canon for Congregational Development, this one day learning and planning event will look at launching new Sunday liturgies. Work on potential processes both to test the waters in a congregation and gain member participation. Clergy and lay teams encouraged. No fee, just come ready to buy your own lunch. RSVP by Friday, May 31. 2013 Diocesan Stewardship Conference To be held at St. John, Olympia, Saturday, June 8, 9:30 am-4 pm, this conference will provide tools for your congregation to create a culture of stewardship through a variety of ministries including management of personal finances, understanding our corporate and individual identity as people of faith, practical helps for inter-generational year round stewardship formation, and environmental stewardship that helps the bottom line. Come and See-Christian Presence in the Holy Land, November 25-December 3, 2013, is a tour sponsored by the Episcopal Bishop's Committee for Israel/Palestine. If you are a first time visitor or someone who is drawn again and again to the land where Jesus taught and ministered, here is an opportunity to visit traditional Biblical pilgrimage sites, meet Christians who call the Holy Land home, and gain a deeper knowledge of the theological landscape. 2013 Seattle Pride Day Parade. Join with Integrity Puget Sound and show your Episcopal PRIDE! Sunday, June 30. Our 2012 turnout was great - about 70 marchers, 10 congregations represented with banners, 11 clergy and a Eucharist celebrated on the street before we stepped off. Let's do it again! Let's once again celebrate our church as a truly welcoming and compassionate community of faith. Integrity Puget Sound is registering us as they did last year, and everyone is invited to participate.
