In March, most of us found ourselves swimming in the sometimes turbulent and murky waters of our emotions. The eclipses this month shine a great spotlight on the unresolved issues that have been lurking in the depths of our individual and collective Unconscious. Eclipses proceed and provoke events that force us to acknowledge what we have denied or ignored. Today's Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra (3/23) is even more powerful than the Solar Eclipse that occurred earlier this month. This eclipse asks us to look to see what is out of balance in our lives. How do we honor our needs? Do we honor the needs and rights of others? Where do we share of ourselves? Where do we hold back? In what ways do we judge others? Where do we feel judged? How do we balance "me" and "we"? This Libra full moon will reflect back to us the areas that are not in equanimity so they may be brought into higher perspective
To best navigate this period, bring your awareness back into your body when you feel challenged or feel the need to lash out at others. Ask yourself: How are you feeling? What are you thinking? This will calm the desire to react rashly. During the next weeks, much will be revealed to us if we are awake to the teachings. Understand that our emotional waters are still running high. Deliberately slow down your reactions, take time to process your feelings before speaking, do some self-inquiry, and allow yourself to get clear. Rather than fear potential shifts and rifts, it would better serve to see any that arise as clearing the space for new learning to seed and new opportunities to blossom.
Now is the time to make Peace with the past - to open your mind and your Heart to both Beginnings and endings. Both essentially are signs of growth. Do not fear non-movement, especially at this time. Many times our highest growth occurs when we are Still - when our minds are quiet and our Hearts are open. Know that action does not always mean progress. The choices that we make during this time will affect us for the next 4 months. Make them with Heart.
The upcoming April new moon energizes our Will.
