What is True for you? This is the question that each of us faces during this transition period. I admit that many of us will not be able to come up with a quick answer that accurately reflects our true beliefs. Nor should we. The question requires thoughtful reflection and absolute honesty. Our response to it will shape 2016 and beyond. Perhaps the question rises at a perfect time? It feels to be so. Many of us have felt disenchanted with the ways of the world and even with ourselves these last months. In truth, our souls are hungry for a more meaningful relationship with ourselves and the world. Each of us is seeking something greater than living on the surface of life, merely surviving, or gathering more stuff. This is the real reason for both our discontent and longing. All of us are experiencing a quickening of spirit.
As the recent new moon and current Mercury Retrograde suggests - it is time to reflect back upon our lives to better understand our present moment. What beliefs/ thoughts about Life have we put our Faith in? What part of ourselves or our life have we ignored or neglected? What are we carrying forward into 2016? January and February offer us opportunities for awakening and for aligning ourselves with the changes that need to take place so that we may embody who we really are. It is essential that we make conscious choices in 2016 rather than remaining stuck in the bud of our personal status quo. The lessons that we resist learning will persist until they have taught us what we need to know. When we embrace the teaching - it transforms into a gift. The gift is, at first, self-knowledge which evolves into self-mastery when we live it.
2016 supports great shifts in consciousness and innovation. We can reframe our identities and recreate our lives if we choose. This is powerful and liberating! 2016 is a 9 year in numerology. 9 signals an end of a cycle - a culmination of lessons learned over the last 8 years. At its highest vibration, 9 is Integrity, Truth, and Wholeness. These times ask us to risk Becoming more because we are so much More.
