Greetings!
At the Winter Solstice, the ancients honored the rebirth of the Sun God and celebrated the coming days of Light. As we approach the Winter Solstice and Christmas, I am reminded that this time also symbolizes our individual and collective Nativity (rebirth). Now, more than ever before, each of us are asked to relinquish the safety of the womb of our past conditioning in order to bring forth a new and greater level of Being for ourselves and for the world. We feel this yearning in our Souls.
As we approach the Winter Solstice, it would benefit us to look at the stories we have told ourselves about who we are and about life. Do our stories reflect our truth? Or, do they echo the voices/judgments of others? Do our stories speak fear or support us? Is it time to rewrite the story in our own voice to reflect our truth? Or, is it time for our choices and actions to mirror the story we have created about ourselves? These questions and their answers are sacred guides. The more we are mindful of our beliefs and stories, the less force they will exert on our psyche and our life choices.
This practice may, to some, seem a waste of time. Change and manifestation occurs first in spirit and mind - then in the outer world. When we turn our minds inward - we discover that the seeds of our new beginnings lie beneath the surface of our wounds and misunderstandings. Seeking our truth may feel daunting at first. This is new ground for many of us. We were not taught how to have a relationship with ourselves, our emotions, or our truth. Rather, many of us were taught to go from doing to doing - task to task. Productivity was the measure of our worth. Thankfully, the shifts of the last year or so are causing us to re-examine the old paradigms.
As we move toward the Winter Solstice and Christmas, we are encouraged to attend too and to act from our Hearts. Do not lend your energy or your power to fear consciousness. Do not take other people's actions to heart. Each of us are either blocking, fighting, or opening to the transformation that is being called for. Many are vacillating between opening and resisting. Change brings unease. I offer this channeled love note from Divine Mother. It will help us to navigate the cycle and open to the true Spirit of Christmas:
"There is a Greater Wisdom & Love interwoven in the fabric of your Lives than is visible. Do not fall prey to the illusions that fear creates.Take a moment to let go of the mind chatter - a moment to simply breathe in Life. Do this now please. Close your eyes. Inhale deeply the Breath of Life. Gently release it. Look at your life. Focus now only upon the good - the beauty of nature, the love of a pet or person, etc... You may discover that you have much to be thankful for, even as your heart desires to grow. Can you feel your body relax into your Self? This is the space of pure creation. Return here often, Beloved Ones. This still point holds your Magic and your Potential. Allow it to nourish your Soul."
To see yourself and the world clearly - one must always look thru the lens of the Heart!!
